Maya Terzieva
CEO + Managing Partner
Bio
Over 15 years in finance and process leadership, Maya has driven transformation at some of the world’s largest organizations. At Aon, she advanced through progressively senior roles to become Director of Finance for Commercial Risk Canada, where she led national process architecture and automation initiatives across multiple business lines. Building on that foundation, she co-founded URTM Solutions to deliver automation and analytics solutions across industries including finance, law, real estate, and asset management—replacing legacy inefficiencies with data-driven precision.
Beyond her role at URTM, Maya is a founding Board Member of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria, fostering bilateral collaboration and innovation between Canadian and international enterprises. Known for her entrepreneurial drive and ability to merge financial strategy with technology, Maya continues to shape the future of business intelligence—empowering organizations to make better, faster decisions.

Rumyana Terzieva
CTO + Managing Partner
Bio
Before launching URTM, Rumy spent over seven years at Business Cloud Inc., where she rose from Cloud Solutions Specialist to Creative Director & Senior Cloud Solutions Specialist. In this role, she managed large-scale digital transformation projects, guiding clients through cloud migration, process automation, and digitalization. Alongside her technical leadership, she directed website development and user experience initiatives, blending functionality with engaging design.
With more than a decade of experience spanning cloud computing, business process automation, web development, and UI/UX design, Rumy brings a multidisciplinary perspective to every project. At URTM, she channels this expertise into building scalable automation products that reduce complexity, improve efficiency, and give clients the ability to “just press a button.”
Known for her design-forward mindset, Rumy is committed to shaping solutions that are not only technically robust but intuitive and engaging for end-users—bridging the gap between technology and people.

Marcos Benaim

Valerie Fox
The Pivotal Point, Chief Innovation Consultant
Bio
Val has over 30 years of experience in the digital world, where she started a graphic design business and was then sought by IBM to be part of their senior innovation network. She led their enterprise software design teams and was the creative director for large online experiences like the Sydney Olympics. She was awarded 5 patents, including the Universal Shopping Cart for the Web.
Other awards include the Sara Kirke Award for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, the 2016 CNE Woman of Distinction Award, and the honour of being part of the 2016 Canada Innovation Leaders team. She’s currently on several boards and advisories, including Futurpreneur and Genesis Accelerator.

Adrian Bulzacki, Ph.D.
University Canada West, Prof. of Business
Bio
Dr. Bulzacki is an active investor in early-stage companies, advising peers on technology and innovation opportunities while currently focusing on launching projects in Quantum Technology. A founding member of the DMZ at TMU—recognised as a leading university-based incubator—and holding a Fellowship in Commercialisation from the Federal Economic Development Committee, his contributions reflect a deep commitment to advancing technology and nurturing future leadership. His engagement extends beyond the classroom through active participation in initiatives like the DMZ’s Black Innovation Programmes and Bootcamps, where he works to support and empower diverse talent. He also provides strategic investment guidance to family offices and is an establish speaker at the Global Family Office Investment Summit. His dedication to mentorship has been recognised with the G. Raymond Chang Outstanding Volunteer Award for his guidance of young entrepreneurs at Toronto Metropolitan University in 2022. He delivered a keynote at the National Defence University—Eisenhower School in Washington, D.C., on “Practical Advancements in AI for Financial and Legal Markets.”

Luigi Ferrara

Bio
For 22 years he served as the Director and then Dean of the Centre of Arts, Design and Information Technology at George Brown College in Toronto. During his tenure he directed the renowned Institute without Boundaries for 20 years and then became the founding Chair and CEO of the Brookfield Sustainability Institute (BSI). He was President and is now a Senator of the World Design Organization which represents the global design professions, academic institutions, promotional organizations, corporations and design cities. He is a Fellow of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada, an architect and multi-disciplinary design practitioner who has worked in the fields of urban design, planning, architecture, interiors, exhibition, strategy, research and innovation, branding, product system service design, interaction design, software development and management consulting. He lectures on topics such as digital transformation, sustainability, collaborative design, design thinking and innovation.

Jacob Kessler

For over 25 years, Jacob has built businesses and teams in the entertainment, strategy, marketing & advertising, retail commerce, and technology sectors. He is an award-winning branding and marketing strategist and producer. Jacob has worked on projects and campaigns with global organizations such as Audi, Live Nation, Abbott Labs, University of Toronto, Canadian Olympic Foundation, Spider-Man: The Musical, Rogers Sportsnet, Canadian Red Cross, Havergal College, and Renova. Interestingly, he has been a sought after creative specialist over the years focused on advertising in the real estate new high rise and low rise development market, working on branding projects for some of the top developers and sites in Canada, such as Toy Factory Lofts, One Bloor, Ice Condos, Pemberton Group, Empire Communities, and Maple Leaf Square. He is proud to have launched Plan Canada’s Because I Am a Girl movement across Canada, which won Gold at the Cassies Awards (the top advertising award for results) three years in a row. The program was eventually rolled out worldwide and influenced the UN to designate October 11 as International Day of the Girl.
